Method

  1. Melt the butter in a large frying pan and fry the onion until just
    beginning to brown. Add the meat and cook until browned.
  2. Add the garlic, ginger, curd, turmeric, coriander, cumin, nutmeg, chili
    powder and water and bring to the boil.
  3. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until the meat is tender. Stir in the
    cream, almonds, salt and garam masala.
  4. Heat through gently and serve garnished with the toasted almonds.
