Hearty Vegetable Beef Soup
- 2 pounds of Halal Stew Beef
- 1 medium Onion
- 3 tbsp. of Heinz 57 Sauce (peeled & chopped)
- 1 large can of Diced Tomatoes
- 1 small can of Diced Tomatoes
- 1 can of Vegetable Broth or Beef Broth
- ½ cup (1 stick) of Butter (Makhan)
- 2 bags of Frozen Green Beans (Phaliyan)
- 2 bags of Frozen Cauliflower (Phool Gobhi)
- Salt (to taste)
- Black Pepper (Pisi Kaali Mirch) (freshly ground - to taste)
- Cook beef in a large water filled stew pot or tall soup pan with onion
and Heinz 57 Sauce. - When the beef is nearly done add remaining ingredients and continue to
cook. - Be sure to keep plenty of water added and stir occasionally.
- The longer it cooks the better the flavor. This is best when allowed to
cook all day.
