Dahi Kay Koftay
Serves : 4-6 persons
Ingredients
- 1 Kg. Yogurt
- 250 gms. Gram Flour (Baisan)
- 1 table spoon Garlic Paste
- 125 gms. Onion
- 40 gms. Cumin Seeds (White zeera)
- 2 tea spoon Red Chili Powder
- 1 tea spoon Salt
- ½ Bunch Coriander Leaves
- 3 Cups Cooking Oil
Preparation
Pour the yogurt in a muslin cloth and hand it for 3 hours. When all the water
is drained out, take it out of the muslin cloth and make small kofta (s).
Mix half the quantity of red chili powder & salt to gram flour & make a thick
paste by gradually adding water. Now dip the Koftas in this mixture & fry in
Cooking Oil.
When golden brown take them out of the pan & keep them aside.
Cut the onions and fry them in the same oil till golden brown.
Add ginger & garlic paste, salt, red chili powder, cumin seeds & a little water
to make gravy. When ready, put the Dahi kofta & coriander leaves in the gravy.
