Batter Fried Fish
Ingredients for Fish
- ½ kilogram of Fish (cut into 3 inch pieces)
- ½ tsp. Salt
- ½ tsp. Black Pepper (Pisi Kaali Mirch) (Freshly ground)
- ½ tsp. of Ajinomoto (Chinese Salt)
Ingredients for Batter
- 1 cup of All-Purpose Flour (Maida)
- 2 tbsp. of Corn Flour (Makai Ka Aata)
- ½ tsp. Baking Powder
- 1 Egg (beaten)
- A pinch of Salt
- 6 cups of Cooking Oil (for deep frying)
- Marinate the fish pieces with: salt, black peppers, and ajinomoto. And
set aside. - Mix all of the ingredients for the batter and make into a smooth paste.
(A little water can also be added if needed.) - Dip the marinated fish pieces one by one into the batter and deep fry
until golden brown. - Serve hot with Tomato Ketchup or Hot Sauce.
